Generational Venture For Good
"Felix Qui Alios Felicem Facit"
Nestled between the Apuan Alps and the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano – the Apennine Mountains straddling the regions of Tuscany and Emilia. in the chestnut-covered mountains of Northern Tuscany, the Nido Dei Venti was established over 40 years ago and slowly expanding into new land since 1986. Located 100 km from Florence and within an hour of the Tuscan Riviera in Massa-Carrara, known for its marble and sandy beaches. Nearby is Bagni di Lucca, a historic thermal resort and former summer retreat of Elisa Baciocchi, Napoleon’s sister. Founded in the early 1990s by the Giannotti family, the estate was created as a private sanctuary for summer retreats and intimate gatherings it quickly turned interest into a rediscovering treasures of growing food, where culture and nature meet in perfect harmony. Spread over 10 acres, the property conveys living spaces with cultivated land producing vegetables, antique grains, fruit orchards, and honey—set against the medieval backdrop of Camporgiano and its historic torre, perched 475 m above sea level. Tenuta Nido Dei Venti offers more than a retreat: it is an invitation to experience Tuscany at its most authentic and discreet. Guests are welcomed into a rhythm of life defined by warm summer evenings scented with forest air and crisp winter mornings wrapped in mountain mist. Experiences include yoga and sound-bath retreats, Tuscan cooking classes led by local families, guided walks through the Apennine trails, and horseback riding across untouched landscapes. The estate also offers artisanal ateliers where guests can discover beekeeping, candle-making, and traditional soap crafting. For discerning travelers in search of privacy, heritage, and deep connection to place, Nido Dei Venti represents not only a stay but a rare immersion into Tuscany’s most authentic landscapes—an estate where tradition, well-being, and elegance meet.
